The Nevada WIC Program is accepting new food submissions, now through April 30, 2021. Food items will be accepted for review in all categories. For detailed information from USDA regarding WIC Foods please visit: https://www.fns.usda.gov/wic/fr-030414
To submit new food items to the State of Nevada WIC Office for review, please submit the following:
- Manufacturer’s nutrition information that certifies the actual nutritional content and ingredients meet Federal WIC requirements. (e.g., for vitamin C, iron, sodium, sugar)
- Provide label images including the barcode.
- Completed UPC Request Form, please ensure the pricing information is complete.
Food submission approval or denial notification will be sent out in July of 2021 and new foods will begin scanning on October 1, 2021.
