How to become a Nevada WIC Authorized Vendor

Vendor Applications

Applications for new vendors are accepted from October 1 - February 1.
Applications will be reviewed for completeness and preauthorization inspections will be scheduled March 1 through May 30.
If approved, applicants will be authorized once the preauthorization inspection is passed. New vendors will be required to attend a new vendor training.

Vendor Prerequisites

The Nevada WIC Program authorizes vendors for a 3 year agreement period.  

Only authorized Nevada WIC Vendors are able to process eWIC transactions. 

If you would like to apply to become a WIC Approved Vendor, you must:

  1. Be a full line grocery store including meat, dairy, produce (fresh, frozen and canned), and dry goods.
  2. Must have SNAP authorization. 
  3. Meet WIC minimum stock requirements for required items at ALL times.
  4. Purchase your infant formula from an authorized supplier.
  5. Must have EBT compatibility.
