Please note, standard open submission for new foods is annually, January 1st – March 30th. During this time, brand specific food items may be submitted for review and approval to NV WIC’s APL, October of that same year. Brand specific foods include:
- Tofu
- Hot and Cold Cereal
- Infant Cereal, Fruits/Vegetables and Meat
- Yogurt (Plant-based alternatives)
- Soy (Plant-based alternatives)
- Juice
- Plant-based Cheese Alternatives
- Nut and Seed Butters
Non-brand specific food items may be submitted for review and added to the APL throughout the year. Non-brand specific foods items include:
- Cheese
- Eggs
- Canned Beans
- Dried Beans/Peas
- Peanut Butter
- Canned Fish
- Whole Grains
- Fruits and Vegetables
- Milk
Please download the NV WIC APL Submission Form to submit any food item requests and submit the completed spreadsheet to DPBHWICVendor@health.nv.gov. Complete all sections of the spreadsheet. If not, it will cause a delay in review and approval.
